Dr. Stephen J. Ingman

Local to Auburn, CA, Stephen J. Ingman attended American River College and Cal State Sacramento for his undergraduate work and attended and graduated from UC Berkeley’s School of Optometry.

He was previously an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Berkley, School of Optometry’s Low Vision Clinic and served as the Director at Sacramento Society for the Blind’s Low Vision Clinic. Dr. Ingman’s other long time affiliations are with Lion’s Club International and Los Medicos Voladores (Flying Doctors).

At his general family practice, Dr. Ingman sees patients from 6 months to 102 years old and uses keen knowledge in all phases of optometry including contact lenses, laser vision and low vision care.

Dr. Ingman constantly attends continuing education courses and conferences to ever improve his knowledge and skills. He is dedicated to providing his patients with all the skills and expertise he possesses in order to give them comprehensive care.

When not in his office Dr. Ingman enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, and any time spent with his family.
